ToteCubby ("the App") is a storage organization app that helps you digitally map your real-world storage. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is handled.
All of your storage data (rooms, units, containers, and items) is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it using the Backup feature.
When you use the AI Scan List feature to extract items from a photo, the image is sent to OpenAI's API for text extraction. The image is processed in real time and is not stored by ToteCubby. OpenAI's data usage policies apply to this processing. No other images or photos are transmitted from the App.
ToteCubby does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location.
ToteCubby does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. No usage data is collected or shared with third parties.
ToteCubby Pro subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple and is never accessible to ToteCubby. For subscription management, visit your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
The App uses the following third-party service:
OpenAI API — Used solely for the AI Scan List feature to extract text from photos. No data is shared with any other third parties.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. Deleting the App will remove all stored data. You can also export and import backups from the Settings screen.
ToteCubby does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App does not require any personal information to use.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
